Police caused a laugh today after releasing an e-fit of a suspect who looks just like a character from the hit comedy film ANCHORMAN.
The image features a man with dark hair and a moustache, who bears a striking resemblance to the character Brian Fantana in the 2004 movie.
Played by actor Paul Rudd, Fantana is an over-sexed field reporter who uses a cologne named ‘Sex Panther’ to try and seduce women.
Kent Police want to speak to a similarly moustachioed character, after an incident in Deal on Saturday night.
A 58-year-old woman was called over to a silver car being driven by the man who asked her to perform a sex act on him while touching himself inappropriately.
The suspect is described as a white man aged around 40 with stubble on his chin, short, straight dark hair. He spoke in a local accent and was wearing a white T shirt.
A Kent resident said: “He looks like he’s probably attended the ‘Brian Fantana Academy of Dating’.
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, starring Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd and Christina Applegate will be released at cinemas on December 20.
