Police were hunting a gunman this afternoon after two men were shot in a targeted attack on a quiet residential street.
The shootings at a house in Tredworth, Glos., at 4.15am sparked a huge police response.
A 46-year-old man suffered an arm injury and possible nerve damage and was still being treated at hospital yesterday afternoon.

The second man, a 47-year-old, suffered minor injuries and was discharged from hospital.
Police remained at the scene throughout the day, with forensic teams examining the site, and a cordon was put in place.
Detective Superintendent Marc Flannery said: “We are speaking to the victims in order to establish exactly who did this and why.
“Forensic inquiries have been carried out in the area and officers are gathering statements, conducting house to house calls and reviewing CCTV as part of the investigation.
“We understand the community will be concerned.
“We can reassure them there is no information at this time to suggest any threat to the wider public and local policing team officers together with other specialist officers remain in the area to provide reassurance.”
Anyone with information or who saw anyone acting suspiciously is asked to call the police.
