Police are hunting for a lowlife mum who was caught stealing an OAP’s pension from a post office counter with her own CHILD in tow.
The despicable thief struck after an 84-year-old woman accidentally left her wallet and cash at Beechdale’s Post Office in Walsall, West Mids, on March 3.
But when the pensioner realised her mistake and returned, her belongings had been swiped.
Staff checked their CCTV footage which clearly showed a woman in her late 20s – who had a young child with her – taking the money from the counter and walking off.
West Midlands Police have now released an image of the woman, who is described as white with dark brown shoulder length hair pulled into a ponytail.
CCTV pictures show the thief wearing a black coat while the young child next to her is wearing a red coat with a grey hat and holding a Minnie Mouse teddy bear.

PC John Giles, from West Midlands Police, said: “The victim in this case is elderly and clearly vulnerable, she obviously relies on her pension money.
“The suspect, who had with her a young child, gave no thought whatsoever as to who the money might belong to and what impact the theft may have had on the rightful owner.
“I would appeal for this woman to do the right thing and call me or on of the team. If anyone recognises the woman the please get in touch.”
