A gyrating granny has proved age is no barrier – by taking up POLE DANCING at 65-years-old.
Pauline Whysall has become one of the world’s oldest pole dancers after taking up the kinky discipline in February this year.
Despite suffering from arthritis and having an artificial hip flexible Pauline has proved a natural and can already hang UPSIDE DOWN from her feet.

The pole dancing pensioner decided to take up the raunchy sport because she wanted a new hobby after semi-retiring from her job as a nurse.
She says her husband Michael, 66, has been “very supportive” about her new pastime and the couple are now planning to install a pole at their home in Nottingham.
Yesterday (Tue) mum-of-two and grandma-of-three, Pauline, said: “It was coming up to my 65th birthday and I really wanted to so something different to keep fit.
“I’d done a bit of burlesque in my younger days and knew a woman at work who did pole dancing lessons.

“It’s something I’d always wanted to do – so I went along not even knowing if I was too old to take part.
“But they welcomed me with open arms and I haven’t looked back since.
“I’ve done quite well so far – despite suffering from arthritis and having an artificial hip – I can do a few moves.

“It’s difficult at my age but I really enjoy it – and it gives your whole body a work out.
“I have had various comments from people but I like doing it and I will carry on doing as long as I still can.
“My husband thinks it’s great, he keeps talking about buying me a pole.
“But my two grown-up daughters think I’m mad.
“It just goes to show that you’re never too old to try something new.”
Pole-dancing instructor Sandrea Simons who teaches Pauline all of her swings, spins and sultry moves, added: “I prefer it when I get the more mature lady because it makes me feel like you’re never too old to try something new.
“Pauline has done terrifically well so far and we’re working her up steadily. Her enthusiasm has been fantastic.
“We don’t have an age or size limit – we’ve got ladies as large as 17 stone right down to seven stone
“I think the average woman thinks that if you go into a pole class it’s going to be skinny 20-year-olds.
“But it’s really a place where women can come and have an hour away from their kids or husband and have an hour to themselves.
“It really is great fun – whatever your age.”
