A hit new game has already been tipped as the ‘must have’ present for Christmas 2013 is a toy which allows kids — to conduct their own ORCHESTRA.
The game – called ‘Symphony in B’ – lets youngsters create their own classical music by placing colourful instruments in an orchestral pit.
It is aimed at children as young as three and comes with thirteen different instruments that can be placed in the centre of the plastic pit in different combinations.
Up to six different instruments can be picked up by sensors, meaning there are thousands of different combinations to play the tunes.
If the instrument chosen is not in the correct melody then it does not play – teaching children how to create a proper symphony.
The toy has already been a huge hit in America where young maestros have used it to create classical melodies including Beethoven’s 5th Symphony.
It has already picked up awards Stateside after its launch last year where it was named the Top Toy of 2012.
A spokesperson for makers Doodle Do said: “It’s an orchestra in a box, and was voted America’s favourite toy in 2012.
“It’s sure to create sound waves over here, because it’s just so incredible. The instruments play as if by magic.”
The Symphony in B will be available in stores later this year, priced around £69.99.
