A plucky pooch which jumped off a bed and broke its back is feeling yappy again – after being fitted with wheels.
Five-year-old Chihuahua Jack Russell cross Mojo was left paralysed after he leapt up to greet owner Kevin Fletcher, 26, but landed on a hard wooden floor.
Two days later Kevin’s mum Julie, 54, woke up to hear Mojo howling in agony and rushed him to the vet who said a disc had become embedded in his spine.

She was warned he would never walk again and offered to put Mojo to sleep.
But Julie refused to give up on the beloved family pet and paid #260 to have a pair of specially designed wheels fitted to his back legs to help him get about.
Mojo is now a familiar sight around his hometown of Shrewsbury, Shrops., since having his “scooter wheels” fitted last September.
Gran-of-three Julie said: “Mojo was visiting my son in Newquay in Cornwall last September when he jumped off the bed and fell awkwardly.
“He seemed okay but when he came back home he didn’t seem himself and was having problems walking.
“The next morning I heard him literally crying out in pain and found him lying in a heap on the kitchen floor.
“I rushed him to the vet who took an x-ray which confirmed he had slipped a disc in his back which was pressing into his spine.
“The vet offered to put him to sleep but I said ‘no way, he’s part of our family’ so he removed the disc and I searched on the internet for solutions to help him walk.
“There was a company which designs light-weight scooter wheels for paraylsed dogs and I thought it was worth a try so bought a pair and he’s never looked back.
“Mojo scoots around all over the place and sometimes goes so fast I struggle to keep up with him on his morning walk.
“People are always coming up and asking about him.
“People think he hasn’t got any hind legs but I tell them they are just in special shoes.
“He still plays with his toys and he is a very happy dog.
“He looks a bit like a sea lion when he walks.”
