A perverted pensioner has been jailed for five years for sexually assaulting a woman who passed out at a Halloween party.
David King, 68, crept into a bedroom as the victim slept off the boozy party in Sheerness, Kent, last October.
She was horrified to find that a stranger had molested her and not her boyfriend.
King returned to the room a few minutes later, switched on the lights and groped his victim for a second time telling her she was “beautiful”.
Maidstone Crown Court heard King had drunk ten pints of Guinness at the party and was only disturbed when the victim’s boyfriend checked in on his partner.
The police were then called and King admitted two offences of sexual assault.
During questioning he admitted a further three charges of sexual activity with a child, one of indecent assault and one of sexual assault since January 2000.
Another offence in 2004 also involved a woman waking up to find King molesting her in a caravan.
Judge David Griffith-Jones jailed King for five years and four months and told him: “Plainly, your behaviour has left in its wake a considerable amount of upset, trauma and it may be psychological damage.
“Statements from three of your victims make harrowing reading.”
King told the court: “I regret what I have done and I am very sorry for it.”
A sexual prevention order was imposed and King’s name will appear on the sex offenders’ register for life.
