A new parenting site is helping mums and dads struggling for ideas – by showing the best games and Apps for their children.
Fundamentallychildren.com has reviews of the best child-friendly apps, in addition to traditional games to keep kids entertained.
There are also hundreds of reviews of the newest toys, including bath accessories, travel toys and costumes for dressing up.
The site’s c0-founder Dr Amanda Gummer is one of the UK’s leading authorities on child development, while colleague and Gill is an expert in children’s technology and e-safety.
Nine other women work on the site. Between the group they have more than 200 years of parenting experience.

‘Dr. Amanda Gummer is a leading authority on child development, play and parenting and holds PhD in psychology and a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education. With nearly twenty years of experience working with families and children, and two young daughters, Amanda has a detailed understanding in this area. Amanda’s experience also includes running a family support charity in London and teaching children with special needs as well as working as an Associate Lecturer in Child Development for the Open University.
