Successful slimmer Stacey Lamb has lost a staggering 10st – dropping a whopping one stone each month.
The mum-of-one decided that enough was enough when the scales tipped at 21 stone and now, 27-year-old Stacey has celebrated Christmas for the first time with a sunny disposition and wearing a size 12 dress.
Stacey, from Hull, East Yorks., had always battled with her weight but she sunk into depression after a stillbirth when she was just 19 in 2009.
Stacey said: “I just got fed up always being in and feeling depressed. I just wanted to be like everyone else, going out and having a laugh.
“I wanted to fit in. Even at school, I was always the bigger one and my friends were all slim and pretty.”
Stacey was 19 when she found out she was pregnant and she went into labour at her mother’s house in April 2009.

Sadly, her baby girl was stillborn.
A year later, Stacey gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Owen, now six, but she continued to pile on weight and was diagnosed with an under-active thyroid and depression by her GP.
By February this year, she weighed one pound short of 21st, was wearing clothes in a size 24/26 and decided to join Slimming World.
Her amazing weight loss has filled her own mum Jennifer Lamb, with pride, especially after the pain of watching her daughter losing her baby.
“I can’t tell you how proud I am of her. I never thought she’d do it.
“I even said to her when she told me what she was doing that she’d never stick to it.
“But she has stuck to it religiously and she’s like a completely different person.”

Stacey joined the Slimming World group, inspired by her friend Sonia Kent who had lost 6st herself and now worked as a consultant for the weight loss organisation.
“I took a lot of inspiration from my friend and I’ve had loads of support from my mum and my dad and all my friends,” she said.
“Owen asks me every Monday how I’ve done that week and he’s always telling me he’s proud of me.
“He says we’re able to run about together and so we are, we’re always running everywhere.
“My mum has just been amazing. She’s my rock.”

Mrs Lamb said: “She was always beautiful to us, no matter if she weighed 25st. But we can’t believe the difference in her.
“She didn’t go out or do anything before and now she has so much confidence.
“She plays with her son every day, something she didn’t have the energy to do before and it has completely changed her life.
“We are so proud of what she has achieved after everything she has been through.”
