A promising motocross rider was all tooled-up today after receiving sponsorship by Gypsumtools.
Thomas Simpson, 16, has winning events after competing regularly at events since the age of just seven.
But to continue progressing and competing at the highest level, Thomas needed sponsors to fund his quest for international success.
Gypusmtools will now sponsor the teenager for the 2015 season, providing him with sponsorship money for new tyres, clothing and other essential kit throughout the year.
Thomas, from Barwell, Leicestershire, said: ‘I’m delighted that Gypsumtools will be my sponsor for the year ahead. I’m looking forward to riding and winning more races.’
Gypsumtools Operations Director, Callum Wilson, said: ‘We pride ourselves on our good relationships with our customers and that level of customer service extends out into the local community too. It’s so important that large firms can be supportive of groups and individuals – and this includes offering help where it’s needed.
‘Thomas is a very talented local Motocross rider, who has every chance of going really far in his sport. He is a lovely lad, who deserves every opportunity to succeed. That is why we were very pleased and proud to be able to sponsor him for this season and wish him every success as he competes throughout the year and into the future.
‘We’ve been hearing some great things about Thomas’ ability so we can’t wait to see how he gets on.’
