This is the terrifying moment a moped burst into flames after a collision with a vehicle on the run from POLICE.
It is thought the moped was hit by a Nissan Qashqai which moments before had failed to stop for officers in Angel, north London.
The car struck the moped and flipped onto its side after the collision, while the moped was engulfed in fire.

A witness claims the driver of the car then tried to steal a bike from a woman to escape – but was apprehended by police.
Resident Jim Killock said: “I didn’t see the crash, but I did see the aftermath. I saw the driver climb out of the car and then attempt to steal some woman’s pushbike.
“She was just stood there, she was trying to help him out and check he was okay. It was really odd, like a scene from a film.”
The Met Police confirmed the driver of the car was arrested shortly after the crash, which happened around 11am on Tuesday.
A spokesperson said: “The vehicle, a Nissan Quashqui, failed to stop for police. Officers later found it had collided with a moped in St John Street.
“The moped rider was taken to hospital suffering a leg injury – it is not thought to be life threatening. The driver of the car has been arrested and taken into custody.
“Traffic officers were at the scene and enquiries into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.”
