A pensioner sparked panic at a petrol station after crashing her car into a pile of gas canisters.
The elderly driver, in her 80s, smashed through a hedge and into a metal cage which stores the cylinders.
Emergency services raced to secure the scene amid fears the canisters had leaked after being hit by the silver Ford Fusion.

The OAP told shoppers she had never had an accident before the mishap which happened on Monday at a Waitrose forecourt in King’s Lynn, Norfolk.
One witness said: “I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. The car had mounted the pavement and was stuck on the metal cage.

“I think the fireman had decided it was safe by this point and that no gas had leaked because they were helping the garage staff to move the canisters across the forecourt and away from the car.
“The driver was being comforted by staff and she looked a bit shaken up by the whole thing.”
Typical old c*nt shopping at Waitrose!
