Police carrying out routine checks on a car in London made a baa-rmy discovery in the boot – a live SHEEP.
Officers were talking to the driver when they spotted the farmyard animal in the boot of the black Volvo at around 6pm on Sunday.

The “sheepish” driver explained the sheep, named Amy, was the mascot for St George’s Hospital and was being driven home to nearby Kingston City Farm.
Amy regularly cheers up patients and helps raise money for the hospital in Tooting, south west London, and has also appeared in ITV series Foyle’s War, the driver added.
A Met Police spokesman said the driver had not committed any offences by transporting the sheep in the boot and was allowed to continue to the farm.
MPS Kingston tweeted: “An un-ewe-sual traffic stop by our officers today… The driver was a bit sheepish too!”
