Britain’s most married man – who has tied the knot an incredible EIGHT TIMES – is set to have his life story made into a film.
Romeo Ron Sheppard, 65, first walked down the aisle 47 years ago and has since fathered eight children and has 13 grandchildren.
His current marriage – to Filipino bride Weng Platino – is his most successful and has now lasted 10 years.

Now the retired holiday camp entertainer, who once mentored Shane Richie, is set to have a film made about his eventful life, and his reasons for becoming Britain’s most married man.
Ron is currently in talks with a British production company from Bournemouth, and film companies in America after he rejected an offer by Indian Pictures Group Worldwide.
It is rumoured that Jude Law is being head-hunted to play the role of the much-married husband.
Mr Sheppard said: “I think it would be fitting for Jude Law to play me as he is very good.
“From what I understand the movie is going to be a rom-com and it will be sort of like Alfie was.
“It fits, as it was kind of like that, only instead of being a lover and a leaver, I married all of them.”
Other actors that Mr Sheppard would like to see in the film include Julie Walters and Dawn French.
He said: “I think Dawn French would be absolutely great as one of my mothers-in-law. I’m hoping she will be interested in the role.”
Ron, who has also written a book on his life, has married eight women since his first ceremony aged 19 in 1966.
He has tied the knot with ex-wives Margaret, Jeanette, Lesley, Kathy, Sue, Usha and Wan.
But Ron, who always claimed marriage was for life, said he has finally settled down after finding his “true love” and “soul mate” in Weng – who he met online shortly after separating from previous Thai wife Wan in 2003.
The couple, who live together in Martock, Somerset celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary on November 15.
Ron said: ”I have never felt true love and genuinely believe there is the right person for everyone out there.
“Unfortunately for me, it took me longer than most to find the right one.
“I was 19 when I first married and was very young and naive. With some of the marriages, I just didn’t have the heart to say no and it seemed to be the decent thing to marry.
“I have had eight mothers-in-law so I must be brave.
“Weng has changed me inside out. Every day with her is like a honeymoon. Before that I was usually at the divorce court.
“It was different when I was younger. It was frowned upon if you lived with a woman without marrying her. So I guess that’s why I married so much.”
Ron has spent 44 of the last 48 years married. His longest union lasted 13 years and the shortest just 10 months.
The marriages have brought him eight children and 13 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Ron met Weng after he sent an email to a Christian relationship advisor in the Philippines shortly after splitting with his seventh wife Wan after just eight months in 2003.
He poured his heart out in a lengthy message and kept in touch with Weng before flying out to Santa Rosa, Laguna, Philippines, to meet her the following May.
The couple instantly “clicked” and he married Weng on the Isle of Wight a month later on November 15, 2004.
Ron’s autobiography, Lord of the Wedding Rings, will be launched on February 1.
He said: “It’s taken six years of hard work to get to this point. To think I have this book coming out, it is just incredible.”
