A married dad who plied a 13-year-old girl with vodka and then raped her at his home while his wife and children were on HOLIDAY has been jailed for nine years.
Mayas Ubed befriended the teenager in April 2012 and started meeting her in a park but lied about his name saying he was called Harry.
The 29-year-old Iraqi-Kurd then took a group of people – including the girl – to a property in Nottingham in August 2012.
He claimed he was looking after the house for a friend but in reality it was his own home and his wife and children were on holiday.
The girl was then given vodka and began to feel unwell so had to lie down.
But as she tried to recover from the alcohol, Ubed attacked her and raped the teenager twice – ignoring her pleas of ‘no’.
He only stopped the sick attack when her friend, who had heard her shout out, approached them.
Police were called a month later when the girl returned to school after the summer holidays and told a teacher what had happened.
Two months later, officers arrested Ubed after he was spotted working at a car wash in Nottingham.
He denied knowing the girl and denied the rapes but she picked him out on an identification parade.

And Ubed, of Sneinton, Nottingham, was jailed for nine years at Nottingham Crown Court on Thursday after being found guilty of two counts of rape.
He was also ordered sign the sex offenders’ register for life.
After the hearing, Detective Chief Inspector Martin Hillier, from Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This man targeted a vulnerable child and then plied her with alcohol to render her helpless.
“Ubed exploited the vulnerability of this child who trusted him. However, what she has done is to show tremendous bravery in giving evidence against him to secure his conviction for these offences.
“I hope this sentence reinforces the fact that Nottinghamshire Police will thoroughly investigate cases of child sexual exploitation and we will do everything we can to protect young people from sexual predators like Ubed.”
