Sharon Edwards, 42, appeared at Preston Magistrates Court this morning (Weds) accused of stabbing 51-year-old solicitor David Edwards to death at their marital home. His body was found at the couple’s smart four-bedroom detached property in Chorley, Lancs., on Sunday night, shortly after they returned from a Las Vegas honeymoon. During a short five-minute hearing, Edwards was flanked by two dock officers as she was asked whether she understood the charge against her.
