A man was killed when fire ripped through a canal boat yesterday (Sun).

Rescuers were called to the Kennet and Avon Canal at 3.33am after a passerby saw the boat well alight on the water.
Four breathing apparatus wearers battled the blaze for 12 hours using two hose reel jets and a main jet.
Three Wiltshire Fire & Rescue crews and a heavy rescue unit attended the incident in Bradford-on-Avon, Wilts. and relief crews were mobilised.

Police are yet to release information on the identity of the victim.
