Blackpool talisman Charlie Adam is expected to be the subject of a summer bidding war between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, according to Spurs boss Harry Redknapp.
The Scottish midfielder, who has scored seven league goals this season, was expected to sign for Liverpool in January but the two clubs couldn’t agree on a fee for the 25-year-old.
Then, just as the Transfer Window was about to shut, Spurs came in for a last-gasp bid for Adam which was rejected by Blackpool.
Now, after helping the Seasiders to a brilliant 3-1 victory against Spurs on Tuesday night, Harry Redknapp is expected to renew his interest in Adam – who can leave Blackpool at the right price.
Redknapp told The Metro: “Blackpool have been good to him and I think he probably owes that to Blackpool, to try and keep them up this year.
“I’m sure at the end of the year there would be plenty of clubs who would be interested in him.”
