MySchoolOpenDays.co.uk is the largest education website in the UK and is the brainchild of successful entrepreneurs Victoria Miller and Darren Perry who became frustrated when trying to research educational options for their children.
“We wasted so much time going through each individual school’s website and found those sites that correlated and compared educational offerings were focused on only one area or promoted elite schools above all the rest,” Darren said.

“We don’t want this to be another database,” Darren said. “We’ve designed it to be a valued and quality catalyst to engagement. It’s also going to open up whole new markets for educational providers.”
All the nurseries, schools, colleges and universities in the UK currently have a basic listing and they can upgrade for free to list more detail including their open days, a description and two photos. There’s also the option for educational providers to pay £50 a year for additional benefits such as the ability to distribute newsletters to interested users.
