Kosovan boy band East 99 have joined forces with soul-singing sensation Jori to release their first UK single.
The track StarStruck will combine the unique sounds of the hip hop-based boy band with the smooth vocals of the established singer-song writer.
Set to be released on November 4 the single will be the first time these artists have crossed the Atlantic and stepped foot in the UK.
Four-time winner of the Steve Harvey Morning Show ‘New Star Project’, Jori has received extensive vocal training under the guidance of the phenomenal Robin Brown who has coached other great artists such as Beyonce, Usher, and Monica.
After the success of her first single, ‘Are We there yet?’ StarStruck marks a new direction for the singer.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia in the USA, Jori is an extremely gifted singer and songwriter who is very comfortable in the recording studio.
She has been performing since the age of 9 she has always loved music.
As a child her passion for reading quickly progressed to writing poems, which later developed into writing songs.
East 99 is a trio consisting of Riky Bankroll, Senn Doe and Tone, each born in Kosovo, Albania.
After years of war and uncertainty took their toll they relocated to Atlanta in 1999, but keen to stay true to their routes named their band after the South Eastern Europe country.
They regularly performed at Open Mics and Artist’s Showcase and their fan base grew quickly.
Soon after, they were sought out by major promoters to perform at some of the most premier venues on the east coast.
Both artists are managed by After Hours Enterprise based in Atlanta, CEO and founder Mr Gregory Branch.
StarStruck will be released on iTunes and through other reputable online outlets on November 4.
