Liverpool manager took new striker Andy Carroll on a bizarre bonding trip – to watch BOYZONE.
The hilarious photograph clearly shows the Liverpool heroes with 59-year-old Dalglish looking distinctly out of his comfort zone.
Fun-loving Carroll, sporting a white hat, looks to be having the time of his life as Ronan Keating performs one pop song after another.
The picture was taken by Liverpool fan Sheena Williams who was watching the boyband at Liverpool’s Echo Arena last night.
She then uploaded it to Twitter, saying: “Omg. Kenny Dalglish is at the boyzone concert. 4 rows behind me. Kenny is sat with Carroll. Great night.”
It was Boyzone’s first leg of their Brother tour – the first time they’ve travelled without member Stephen Gately who died in 2009.
The gig would have given Dalglish and Carroll the chance to spend some time together as the England striker prepares to make his debut appearance for Liverpool following his £35 million move from Newcastle.
He is in contention to make the bench for Sunday’s match against West Ham United at Upton Park with Liverpool fans hoping he’ll be fit to face Manchester United at Anfield on March 6.
