A dedicated jockey put in a cracking performance – by accidentally MOONING when his trousers fell down during a horse race.
Blake Shinn was riding Miss Royale as he desperately tried to make up ground on Defender in the 1,100 metre race.
But the 27-year-old jockey was not only battling for a win – he was also attempting to contain his trousers after the elastic went on the waistline.
And as the jockey neared the finishing line the trousers gave way and he ended up with his bare bum broadcast over Sky Racing Australia and the subsequently the world.
Shinn ended up finishing second – with the amusingly named Modesty taking third place in the Hyland Race Colours Plate, held at Canterbury Racecourse near Sydney.
Afterwards, the committed jockey said: “The elastic went during the race, but I had to keep going.
“I think a lot of people are going to have a bit of fun with this, but they can’t say I wasn’t focused and went to the line.”
