A mother broke her 40-year silence today to describe how twisted pervert Jimmy Savile molested her during a charity hospital visit – as she sat helpless in a wheelchair.
Paralysed Caroline Moore, 53, had been recovering in the children’s ward at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in 1971 following an operation to fuse her spine.
The star struck then 13-year-old could not wait to meet her TV star hero and was delighted when he leant down to give her a “peck on the cheek”.

But Caroline claims Savile instead stuck his tongue down her throat – before jauntily walking off to continue his charity visit “as if nothing had happened”.
The revelations from yet another apparent victim come after Scotland Yard announced this week that predatory Savile had abused children ‘on a national scale’ at the height of his fame. His victims ranged in age from 13 to 15 – and there are currently 130 of them who have come forward.
Caroline, who has been paralysed from the chest down following a car accident when she was 20 months old, said she had been left “haunted” by the sickening incident.
She said: “It was a horrible experience. I can still see his face – it has haunted me to this day.
“It’s not right that he’s dead and can’t face the allegations. It’s like he has got off with it.

“But I have had to live with it. Whenever I saw him on TV after that, my stomach churned.
“I told all my friends what had happened, I have never kept it a secret but, because of how respected he was, I didn’t think anyone would believe me if I went to the police.”
Caroline, of Clarkston, East Renfrewshire, encountered sleazy Savile at the hospital in Aylesbury, Bucks, in 1971.
She had been sent to the hospital’s spinal injuries unit following an operation to fuse the bone after being diagnosed with curvature of the spine.
The now mother-of-two claims she was sat alone in her wheelchair in a doorway at the hospital when former Top of the Pops host Savile approached her in silence.
She said: “I was sitting alone outside the doorway in my wheelchair. I was quite shy and lonely.
“I don’t remember him saying anything to me but he leant down and I was excited because I thought he was going to give me a wee peck on the cheek.
“But he took my face in his hands and rammed his tongue down my throat.
“I was shocked. I had never been kissed and I didn’t really know what had happened – only that it made me absolutely shudder.

“Afterwards he just walked off as if nothing had happened.”
Caroline said she told her parents about the abuse, but no further action was taken.
She added: “If he did that to me what else has he done to people who can’t speak up for themselves?
“I don’t believe for one second I was the only young girl at Stoke Mandeville he did that to.
“But my fear is that other victims may now be dead because the care of paraplegics was not nearly as good back then as it is today.
“What was he doing when he spent all those hours there?
“Did he think that doing all this charity work at the hospital meant he could get a wee perk here or there?
“I only hope that others will come forward too.”

The former businesswoman, who used to run her own shop selling high end baby clothing, said she intends to report her attack to the police if an official investigation is launched.
Caroline said: “It was only when these other stories came out this week that I thought maybe now somebody will take it seriously.
“If there is a police investigation, I will be first in the queue to speak to officers.
“When someone does something like that to you, you want something done.
“I’m still angry about it and it’s just a terrible shame that the man is dead. I would like him to be accountable.”
Under UK legislation no person can be stripped of a knighthood or royal honour after they die.
But Caroline is calling for the rules to be changed to strip Savile of his title and welcomed news that plans to turn his cottage in Glencoe, Inverness-shire, into a centre for disabled people have been shelved.
She said: “I would like to see him stripped of his knighthood and any other medals or recognition that he was given because it was all under false pretences.
“I don’t feel shame over what he did to me – the shame lies with him.
“I’m proud to speak out now and do my bit to have the man known for what he really was.”
A spokesman for Stoke Mandeville Hospital said they were “shocked” by Caroline’s allegations and said they would co-operate fully with the authorities if a probe is launched.
He said: “Bearing in mind the very serious nature of the allegations and long period of time that has since elapsed, we do not feel it is appropriate to comment further at this time.”
Savile’s family removed the star’s gravestone in Woodlands Cemetery in Scarborough in the early hours of Wednesday and sent it to landfill.
A family spokesman said in a statement: “The family members are deeply aware of the impact that the stone remaining there could have on the dignity and sanctity of the cemetery. Out of respect to public opinion, to those who are buried there and to those who tend their graves and visit there, we have decided to remove it.”
A memorial plaque at the former Scarborough home of Sir Jimmy Savile has been removed after it was defaced with graffiti.
The words “paedophile” and “rapist” were scrawled over the plaque at the entertainer’s flat on the Esplanade.
The claims came as previously unseen photographs emerged showing Sir Jimmy Savile inside the hospital where he is alleged to have abused sick and disabled patients.
The picture from 2005 shows the ‘Jim’ll Fix It’ star at Stoke Mandeville Hospital outside a cafe chillingly called ‘Jimmy’s’ in his honour.
Former BBC presenter Savile raised millions for the hospital in Aylesbury, Bucks, and worked as a volunteer there for many years.
But it is now claimed Stoke Mandeville chiefs allowed the predatory paedophile to boast he had his own bedroom at the hospital and had ‘lived’ there for two decades.
Nurses even resorted to warning youngsters to ‘pretend to be asleep’ when the warped Jim’ll Fix It star was approaching their wards, it has been claimed.
It is claimed teenagers in wheelchairs and others recovering from cancer were among those allegedly attacked by the sick BBC DJ.
One patient claimed he was fondled in Savile’s Rolls-Royce at a Stoke Mandeville fundraiser when he was just nine.
A further two women said Savile had forced kisses on them there when they were in their early teens.
Suspicions have been raised his behaviour was ignored because of the millions Savile raised for the hospital, which specialises in treating spinal injuries.
Stoke Mandeville insisted it had ‘no record’ of complaints about him.
