X-Factor winner James Arthur failed to get into the Christmas spirit when he met hundreds of fans at a book signing of his autobiography in Birmingham today.
The 24-year-old singer failed to crack a single smile despite his book, ‘My Story’, being tipped to be a Christmas best seller.

One fan, who queued for four hours to meet her idol when he attended a book signing at WH Smith in Birmingham, said: “Considering he’s going to make millions, he didn’t look very happy for himself.
“Maybe being in Brum made him glum.”
Leave him alone, he HATES his teeth, he’s explained it a million times….
I think he is perfect the way he is, and if the people that went to the book signing cared so much about him smiling and got so upset that he didn’t cry, then they are just thinking about themselves and aren’t real fans!
I meant smile not cry, that’s what news papers make me do when they don’t wright nice things about my fave celeb!
