This is the bizarre moment a goat was caught munching on its favourite food – pieces of glass.
Owner Premi Devi, 72, was shocked when one of her female goats developed the odd eating habit several years ago.
Premi, who bought the goat five years ago, has desperately tried to stop the goat eating the shards of glass with no success.
The goats eats glass daily and Premi, from Northern India, revealed she actually seems to prefer it to grass.
But despite its questionable palate Premi insists the goat is completely healthy and has even given birth to healthy offspring.
Veterinary doctor Dr. Ramesh, who has been practicing in Veterinary Hospital Sundernagar, has never seen such a case in his 35 year career.
It is not known whether the goat keeps the glass pieces in her stomach or if she passed them crushed up shards out through defecation.
Dr Ramesh has advised Premi Devi to keep the goat away from glass or glass pieces.
