I’m a Celebrity’s Gillian McKeith is favourite to leave the competition tonight following controversy over her ‘fainting.’
The TV nutritionist’s odds at leaving the show have been placed at 11/8 by bookmakers Paddy Power.
Gazza’s ex Sheryl Gascoigne is just behind her at 15/8. X Factor star Stacey Soloman is still 5/6 favourite to win the competition with Shaun Ryder hot on her heels at 11/4.
51-year-old Gillian’s bizarre behaviour – which has including claiming she is pregnant and hearing voices – took a new twist when she was rumbled for smuggling soup and spices in to the jungle in her knickers.
Show bosses were gobsmacked to discover she had secretly brought in five pouches of soup powder, eight stock cubes and assorted bags of cumin, celery, garlic, rock salt and herb seasoning.
After admitting she had sewn special pockets in to the insides of her M&S knickers to stash her haul, Gillian bragged to the cameras about her antics.
She said: “I feel very proud that I smuggled it all in. Do you think I was going to come in here without any flavour? You must be mad!
“What are you going to do, throw me to the lions? I feel like a naughty schoolgirl.”
A source told The Sun: “The amount of stuff Gillian had smuggled in was gobsmacking. It was definitely the largest haul we have ever taken off a contestant in the ten years we have been doing the show.”
