The high tech answer to the age old question of ‘does my bum look big in this?’ has been answered with this incredible virtual – changing room.
Using movement sensors and computer technology known as augmented reality the ‘Magic Mirror’ allows customers to virtually try on different items of clothing by superimposing a 3D picture of the outfit onto their body.
The finished result is then display on a giant television screen – and customers don’t even have to undress.

The virtual changing room was installed at Braehead Shopping Centre, Glasgow, Scotland yesterday as part of the centre’s Fashion Week.
Joanna Doyle, 22, from Motherwell, North Lanarkshire, was one of the shoppers to try out the mirror.
She said: “The Magic Mirror is amazing, I’ve never seen anything like it before.
“It’s great fun and you can see yourself in lots of different outfits without the hassle of having to change your clothes every time you want to see how you look in a different outfit.

“It gives you the chance to see how you look in lots of different outfits and it saves you lots of time.”
Fashion Week is being held until October 21 and also includes the ‘Perfect Party Dress’ pod where girls can receive advice on the latest fashions and colours from Scots stylist Jade Halbert.
The event will culminate with a three-day catwalk fashion show hosted by television style guru Mark Heyes, from Houston, Renfrewshire.
Braehead’s marketing manager Lydia Brown said: “We’re really excited about Magic Mirror coming to Braehead and our shoppers will love it when they see the technology in action.
“It’s a fantastic idea as the girls will be able to see how they look in lots of different outfits in a short time.
“There’s such a huge range of fashion at the centre with clothes of every colour, size and style, it makes sense to use the latest technology to quickly get an idea of what styles are out there and what suits them.
“Of course, you can never replace the experience of picking up clothes and feeling the fabric, but as a fashion snapshot, Magic Mirror is ideal for people who want to quickly see how they look in different outfits.”
