A company that allows families to hire carers over the internet has launched a crowdfunding bid to raise investments.
Direct Homecare has a database of care workers and their profiles on its website which customers can browse through.
Each carer is scored with reviews from previous clients and has their qualifications listed.
But the firm is hoping to expand its reach with a cash injection of £75,000 from CrowdCube. So far they have sold £16,000 worth of shares in the company to new investors.
Founded Renaud Cohard-Beaumont said: ‘ Direct Homecare is a platform connecting Carers and Clients. While we are not a Home Care Agency, we make your life easier by dealing with the administrative side of hiring a carer.
‘Service Users can find the perfect carer for their needs and Carers can find the best possible match for their skills and availability. Their relationship (schedule, fees, feedback…) is fully administered by the Direct Homecare website.’
