A holidaymaker who he fell 200ft down a cliff had a miracle escape after he had his fall broken – by a massive BUSH.
The tourist was enjoying stunning coastal views when he got too close to the edge of the precipe and tumbled over.
He fell hundreds of feet towards jagged rocks but his plunge was slowed up by branches and shrubbery.
Eventually the man, in his 40s, came to a stop on a rocky ledge 30ft above the water and was able to dial 999 himself.
Coastguards scrambled to Petit Tor Point in Torquay, Devon, and found the victim suffering spinal injuries but not critically hurt.
A helicopter crew winched him to safety then flew him to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.
His condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
