This Harvester spider literally got cold feet when his legs were coated in frost as temperatures in Britain plunged to a chilly minus 6C.
The frozen bug was spotted in Watts Wood, Lincs., by snapper Mark Johnson as he walked his dog on Wednesday afternoon.
The icy insect had been taken by surprise by the current cold snap as it struggled to make it back to its web.

“His legs were heavy with ice but he seemed quite unfazed by it all.
“No doubt he wanted to get some food and didn’t realise just how chilly it was.”
