Shamed football ace Gazza popped into a salon for a cut-price £8.50 short back and sides, where he left a measly £1.50 tip.
Broke star Paul Gascoigne, who was last week arrested after an alleged cocaine binge, visited the salon following a heavy night out with mates in Milton Keynes, Bucks.
Staff at the Braids Salon were stunned when Gazza, 43, strolled in for a trim before and paid tenner – leaving just a £1.50 tip.
The footballing legend was seen in a salon in a Milton Keynes shopping centre four days before a court appearance for drink driving in Newcastle.
The star is facing up to three months in jail after pleading guilty to being four times over the limit on October 8.
Troubled Gazza is back in rehab after his high-profile public meltdown following his arrest over an alleged hotel drug binge.
Stylist Marian Lofty, 29, said: ”I couldn’t believe it when Gazza walked in. He looked like he was in pretty good shape considering.
”He didn’t look like he had any problems with booze and seemed sober. It’s a shame what’s happened to him as he seemed a really nice guy.
”He came in and sat down in my chair and I started cutting his hair. I asked him if he was who I thought he was and he said ‘yes’.
”Everyone was really excited and the staff and customers all crowded around to get autographs once I’d finished cutting his hair.
”He gave me a tenner and told me to keep the change. I was just happy to be cutting his hair as he’s such a huge star.
”He was staying with friends in Milton Keynes and he had been out to the Living Room the night before and enjoyed himself.
”I gave him a short back and sides – it was very short, a number one – and messy on top.”
This is not news.
