A hardcore gaming fan has put his entire collection of over 5,700 computer games complete with 58 consoles for sale on eBay – for the eye-watering price of £102,000.
The massive haul has been heralded as the ultimate collection of video gaming memorabilia – which includes classic consoles spanning over 30 years.
Internet user ‘reel.big.fish’ is selling everything from the original Nintendo Entertainment System from 1983 up to the modern day Xbox 360.
Included in the collection is the Sega Master System from 1986 as well as 10 Nintendo 64s in every colour they have ever been released.
And anybody willing to offer the staggering price of $164,000 (£102,000) for the entire lot won’t be bored as every console comes complete with hundreds of video games.
There are 835 Nintendo games, 744 Super Nintendo games, 492 Sega Genesis games, as well as hundreds for the PlayStation, Xbox, and Atari.
They include classics such as the original Super Mario Brothers, Zelda, Sonic the Hedgehog as well as Pokemon, Street Fighter and Grand Theft Auto.
reel.big.fish, aka Aaron, from Wyoming, USA, said he had picked up the huge haul of games over decades of visiting second hand shops and collectors’ stalls.
The avid gamer said: “My method for putting together a collection like this is just game by game, searching out garage sales, thrift stores, and pawn shops.
“To me, hunting out the game and giving them a new home where they are appreciated is really a great deal of fun.
“I’m not looking to break this up, I’m selling as one amazing lot.”
Most of the games are from the 1980s and ’90s, and are therefore listed as “used.” and many of the games still come with their original box with their instructions.
He wrote on the eBay sale item description: “I’ve always replaced lesser quality titles with higher quality titles as I received them. So you are getting my master set.
“I’ve always been picky with titles and tried not to pick up many with less than good labels, although there is a small amount.”
The collection even boasts to have “every single retail (on store shelves) game released from Nintendo between 1985-2000.”
Incredible pictures accompanying the listing shows how Aaron has turned one of the rooms in his house into an ultimate gaming man cave.
The walls can be seen stacked from floor to ceiling with a combination of retro and modern games from over the years.
The eBay listing – which gives the option of ‘buying it now’ for £102,000 – is currently being “watched” by over 5,400 people.
