The author of racy novel Fifty Shades of Grey is to judge a competition to invent a brand new – SEX TOY.
Writer E L James will help pick the winner of the contest held by pleasure product firm Lovehoney.
A similar competition in 2009 was won by a rotating wheel which simulated a sex act called The Sqweel – which sold across the world.
James is on the judging panel after the firm worked with her to produce the official collections of Fifty Shades sex toys and pharmacy products.
Lovehoney is offering a £1,000 prize in three categories – best sex toy for women, men and couples and £2,000 will go to the overall winning design.
Lovehoney co-founder Neal Slateford said: “You don’t need to be engineer or a designer to enter – all we need is a great idea and a rough sketch so that our designers can make your sex toy become a reality.”
