This is the moment a wealthy motorist ignored the weather by driving his £170,000 Ferrari through a seriously flooded road in one of the UK’s richest areas.
Sandbanks in Dorset has suffered torrential downpours over the past 24 hours resulting in chaos for motorists and residents.
But the spirited owner of this 202mph Ferrari 458 Italia wasn’t put off by the rain and coolly drove the low slung supercar through the waterlogged roads.

The driver of a Rolls-Royce also cruised through without problem but some other motorists broke down in their run-of-the-mill motors.
Chris Skone-Roberts, who photographed the flooding, said: “Sandbanks is known to flood but I don’t think I’ve seen it like this since the 1980s.

“Cars were just blasting through the water and then breaking down afterwards.
“The the Ferrari came along and I thought he’d just slow down to a creeping speed but he just ploughed straight through without a problem.”
