A farm worker has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a minature donkey called Doodle.
Carlos Romero, 31, was caught performing an explicit act with the 21-month-old in a tack room which doubles up as his bedroom.
When he realised somebody had been spotted him he opened the door before pushing Doodle out of the barn in Ocala, Florida.
Police later arrested Romero on suspicion of having sexual activity with an animal after an alleged witness rang the authorities.
Romero denies having full sex with Doodle, claiming he was waiting for her to “bloom into maturity” for that to happen.
But he admitted “he likes the way the fur feels on his testicles”.
He also told officers he has masturbated “five or six times” with the donkey and that his DNA may have “accidentally” ended up inside the animal.
But Romero denies any wrongdoing. He told police that residents of Florida are “backwards” because they frown on zoophilia.
He was arrested on September 17 and is being held in the Marion County jail in lieu of $2000 bond.
