England striker Peter Crouch has been slapped with a six month driving ban after he was caught speeding twice in less than a month.
The lanky 31-year-old Stoke City star was caught on a speed camera travelling at 69mph in a 40mph zone as he drove his flash £30,000 Range Rover on the M42/M6 Toll Road near Curdworth, Warks., on March 6.
Weeks later he was clocked driving at 70mph on the same stretch of road on April 25.

He was charged with speeding and failing to give police information about who was driving at Nuneaton Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
The court heard he already had nine points on his licence before he was caught speeding in his.
Crouch, who did not attend the hearing, was banned for six months and fined £1,300.

The star, from Mottram, Cheshire, was also ordered to pay £170 costs, with £15 victim surcharge, and his licence was endorsed with a further 12 penalty points, making 21 in total.
The ban comes just two months after the star was hit with five penalty points after being caught speeding after a match in Macclesfield, Cheshire.
