Meet artistic Karishma – the elephant who loves painting.
The fourteen-year-old Asian elephant has been stunning crowds at her zoo by using her trunk to carefully decorate wooden shapes with a paint brush yesterday afternoon.
And while the results might be a little abstract animal lovers have been wowed by her nose for art.

The matriarch was carrying out the ingenious task at Whipsnade Zoo to help raise funds for Elephant Appreciation Weekend, which starts on Saturday.
Zoo keeper Elizabeth Becker said: “Karishma really enjoys painting, and she’s very talented at it.
“It demonstrates just how dexterous elephant’s trunks really are and we think the end results are pretty amazing, if a little abstract.”
