See SWNS story SWSIMPSONS; A brave mum who declined chemo to try and save her unborn baby has achieved a bucket list dream after getting a personalized message - from HOMER SIMPSON. Police officer Heidi Loughlin, 33, was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive breast cancer when she was three months pregnant. She then put her own life at risk and delayed the chemo to opt for a less-effective treatment which would not harm her little girl. Tragically her baby daughter Ally Louise Smith, who weighed just 2lb 5oz, passed away just eight days after she was born.
