Bob with the belly dancers at his Christmas party - hosted by Lisa Evans as part of his bucket list. A dying dad was given an early Christmas party as part of a bucket list organised by his devoted daughter. See SWNS story SWBUCKET. Bob Evans, 63, was told he had just six months to live after he was diagnosed with throat cancer in July this year. He was offered radiotherapy and chemotherapy, which had a ten per cent chance of success, but refused in order to spend "quality time" with his family and friends. His only daughter Lisa, 37, decided to draw up a bucket list of things for her and her dad to do together in the time they had left. Since his diagnosis Bob, a retired Royal Navy medic from Birmingham, and Lisa, have climbed Mount Snowdon, seen the military tattoo in Edinburgh, and had a flight in a fighter jet.
