A drunk thief marched out of a pub with a VIAGRA MACHINE under his arm after stealing it from a toilet wall.
Sean Michael Fitzgerald, 38, tore the vending machine off the wall at the Britannia Pub in Wollaston, West Mids., at around 9.20pm on March 29.
The randy drinker was then caught on CCTV leaving the boozer with the machine wrapped in a black plastic bag.
At Dudley Magistrates Court on Wednesday he pleaded guilty to a charge of theft and was given a three-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay compensation of #220.
He was also ordered to pay a £100 contribution towards the cost of the case and a £15 victim surcharge.
The court heard how Fitzgerald, from Stourbridge, West Mids., caused £50 damage to the wall, the machine was worth #100 and contained money and tablets worth £120.
Lynda Gudgeon, prosecuting, told the court: “CCTV stills were viewed by police showing the defendant removing the machine from the wall and walking out of the pub.
“This was how he was identified by police.”
Pub landlord Wayne Etheridge said after the case he had been left ‘shocked’ by the theft.
He added: “I’ve never known anything like it.”
