A luckless driver faces a whopping £1,275 parking bill after their abandoned car was slapped with 17 tickets.
The Mercedes 4×4 has been in the NCP station car park in Cockfosters, London, for the past 21 days.
Despite a warning notice on the car threatening to scrap the vehicle if it is not removed within 14 days the owner has still not come forward.

Now the Metropolitan Police are searching for the owner of the car – which carries an Irish number plate.
A spokeswoman for NCP, which runs the car park, said: “It’s been there for 21 days so it got to the point where we had to alert the police.

“The main thing is trying to find out if the owners are okay, but if they do return to their car there is going to be a pretty big bill waiting for them.
“It is in the hands of the Met Police now.”
