Doctor Who star Matt Smith is selling his beloved first car on eBay – a little old Vauxhall Corsa he has owned for 12 YEARS.
The actor, 30, is best known for travelling through time in a blue telephone box.
But after passing his test as a teenager in 2000, he bought a brand-new Vauxhall Corsa which affectionately became known as ‘The Shed’ among his mates.
Despite finding worldwide fame as the Timelord, Smith has kept hold of his trusty silver supermini, which has covered 60,000 miles on its 1-litre engine.
Now, after 12-years of relatively hassle-free ownership – he knocked the wing mirror off once – Matt has decided it is time to get his pride of and joy off his parents’ driveway.
He is auctioning it off on eBay with all proceeds going to the Starlight Children’s Foundation, for which he is an ambassador.
The 50bhp Vauxhall has a number of dents and scratches and is for sale without an MOT but it is taxed until the end of August.
And unlike his TARDIS, the three-door Corsa is small on the outside and small on the inside – although it does come with a Sony radio.
Bids for the little motor started at 99p and by yesterday they had reached £560 with nine interested parties making offers.
Matt said: “While I have been travelling the universe in my TARDIS, my much-loved Vauxhall Corsa, aka The Shed, has been parked outside my parents’ house.
“As my first ever car, it has seen lots of adventures, not to mention a fair few mishaps (hence the dents). I got the car and then got into the National Youth Theatre – both life changers!

“I’ll be very sad to see it go but I understand my parents want their driveway back.
“I’d love to find a new owner for this great little car, particularly as all the profits will go to Starlight, which is an amazing charity that brightens the lives of seriously and terminally ill children.”
