A dirty doctor secretly filmed intimate examinations of dozens of women using a spy camera hidden — in his WATCH, a court heard today.
Family doctor Davinder Jeet Bains, 45, took hundreds of hours of high-quality recordings on the device capturing abuse over a three year period.
Bains, a GP, fondled the breasts and groin area during unnecessary intimate examinations of 200 women patients – aged between 14 and 51.
The camera was hidden in the circular part of the number six on two of the wrist watches Bains wore at Tinkers Lane Surgery.
He was finally snared when his 19-year-old student lodger told police he had sexually assaulted her at home – and they swooped on his clinic in Royal Wootton Bassett, Wilts.
They discovered 361 video clips – between 10 to 45 minutes long – showing intimate examinations of more than 200 patients he treated.
Police combed through medical records of women who were registered with the family practise and contacted 3,000 potential victims.
Stills of video footage were then painstakingly matched with women treated at Tinkers Lane – who had no idea they had been filmed.
Bains admitted 39 counts of sexual assault and voyeurism and asked for a further 65 offences to be taken into consideration at Swindon Crown Court.

He denied a further four offences, which will lie on file.
His honour Judge Douglas Field told bespectacled Bains he would be sentenced at a later date.
The judge said: “You will remain in Custody and you will be brought back here on a date to be notified to you. You will go now with the custody staff.”
Wiltshire Police said Bains’ was investigated by police after the lodger alleged he had given her two pills “for her acne” before plying her with alcohol and assaulting her.
The student told officers she believed Bains had also been filming her as she showered in his home, with a secret camera hidden in a watch placed on a certain shelf in the bathroom.
Police decided to swoop on Bains, of Swindon, Wilts., before he could delete any potential evidence and raided his surgery in June last year.
Officers were stunned to find Bains, who had been working at the surgery for four years, was wearing a watch with a tiny camera in it when they arrested him.

An examination of his laptop showed more than 300 films that had been downloaded from the watch over a three year period.
Police began the task of identifying women from the footage, which showed Bains groping patients’ breasts and abusing them as he carried out examinations.
Det Insp Mark Garrett, of Wiltshire Police, who led the investigation, said: “Medical experts who have viewed the footage found the examinations were unnecessary and inappropriate.
“They could not be justified as an examination needed for a patients’ complaint or condition.”
Officers took still footage from the films and painstakingly matched it with patient records and appointment diaries to locate victims.
NHS Wiltshire, the Primary Care Trust, also sent letters to 3,000 women who were registered at the practise.
DI Garrett added: “Our challenge was to identify who these patients were, to locate them and disclose that their medical examination had been recorded by their family doctor for his own gratification.
“There were a number who simply couldn’t believe it. They couldn’t believe that their GP had betrayed their trust in such a way.
“Others were outraged and concerned that the footage could have been shared but I can categorically say we found no evidence to show that it had been.”
Married Bains, who was separated from his wife but had a girlfriend at the time of his offending, was suspended by the General Medical Council after his arrest.
The family doctor, who does not have children and qualified from Mangolore University in 1993, has remained in custody ever since.
DI Garrett said: “He is a sexual predator who abused the trust of his patients and his position of authority.”
Bains will be sentenced before His Honour Judge Field at a later date.
