A computer games company has been forced to issue an apology, after advertising a special edition pack that came with a bloody limbless torso – wearing a UNION BIKINI.
The Zombie Bait edition of new game Dead Island: Riptide was scheduled to come with a 12-inch tall statue of a busty bikini-clad female torso covered in blood and bite marks.
German publishers Deep Silver have been forced to cancel the edition, which was set to only be available in Britain and Australia, after facing a huge backlash from fans.

The ultra-violent computer game, set to be released on April 26, sees players fight for survival on a zombie-infested tropical island.
A statement from Deep Silver reads: “We deeply apologize for any offense caused by the Dead Island Riptide ‘Zombie Bait Edition’, the collector’s edition announced for Europe and Australia.
“Like many gaming companies, Deep Silver has many offices in different countries, which is why sometimes different versions of Collector’s Editions come into being for North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia.
“For the limited run of the Zombie Bait Edition for Europe and Australia, a decision was made to include a gruesome statue of a zombie torso, which was cut up like many of our fans had done to the undead enemies in the original Dead Island.
“We sincerely regret this choice.
“We are collecting feedback continuously from the Dead Island community, as well as the international gaming community at large, for ongoing internal meetings with Deep Silver’s entire international team today.
“For now, we want to reiterate to the community, fans and industry how deeply sorry we are, and that we are committed to making sure this will never happen again.”

The Xbox 360-only edition was meant to contain a special version of the game, with extra content, as well as the hideous statue.
Jason Crockett tweeted: “Just saw the Dead Island Riptide Collectors’ Edition. Absolutely vile and misogynistic. Won’t ever be buying a Deep Silver game, that’s for sure.”
All evidence of the Zombie Bait edition has been taken down from the game’s official website.
