Former Baywatch hunk David Hasselhoff wowed the crowds today when he turned up to the latest Britain’s Got Talent auditions – wearing a KILT.
The perma-tanned star donned a traditional purple tartan with black knee-length socks at the Clyde Auditorium in Glasgow.
Hasselhoff, 58, was joined by presenters Ant and Dec and fellow judges Michael McIntyre and pregnant favourite Amanda Holden.
More than 600 people auditioned, with acts ranging from dog agility to gymnastics, cheerleading and cabaret.
Hasselhoff spent five minutes greeting fans, posing for pictures and throwing photographs of himself out to screaming devotees.
He was supplied with the kilt by Dominic Capaldi, owner of MacGregor & MacDuff kilt hire shop in Glasgow.
Mr Capaldi said: ”David was very respectful of Scottish history and he didn’t want to wear a MacDonald or a MacGregor clan kilt but he wanted something more generic that wouldn’t offend anyone so he went for the Flower of Scotland tartan.
”I’m just really delighted to give him a kilt.”
