Actor David Hasselhoff is not moving to the UK countryside despite rumours he was setting up home their with his new love, it emerged today.
Hasselhoff, 60, and his Welsh girlfriend Hayley Roberts, were said to be planning to settle in the tiny village of Broadway in the Cotswolds.
The Hoff was thought to have fallen in love with the area after spending the panto-season playing Captain Hook at theatres across the country.

But the actor’s agent yesterday denied they were moving from their California mansion to the quiet village.
The agent said: “David is not planning to move to the Cotswolds.”
Speaking last year, the Baywatch star said: “We recently went to the Cotswolds for Hayley’s birthday and fell in love with the place.
“We looked at a couple of houses there and have found a place in a little village called Broadway, which we’ve put an offer in for.
“The Cotswolds won’t know what has hit them. I’m hoping the locals take to us though.”
Local fish and chip shop owner Andrew Riley had planned to put on a special dish in honour of the new celeb resident – called the ‘Knight Fryer’.
