A couple has released images of a bloodied drunk student – who fell through their ROOF.
Shocked Chris and Lou Hepper were asleep in bed at home when their dog suddenly started barking at around 1.45am.
After hearing a strange noise, Chris, 32, looked outside and saw a stranger had fallen 10ft from their garden wall and through their garage roof.
He was dazed, confused and bloodied – with a gash on his face.
They called the ambulance but the man – who they found out was called Dave – walked off because he “wanted to go home”
But they have now released images on social media they took of the intruder before he fled in a bid to track him down.
Lou, 32, of Plymouth, Devon, who works as a kitchen assistant, said: “He was very intoxicated.
“We couldn’t really understand what he was saying, but he said he had been on a night out and couldn’t remember how he had ended up on our garage floor.
“There’s no roof on it at the moment, but it is full of old glass because the shop below is being converted into a flat and so the rubbish is all being chucked in there.
“There was just blood everywhere and he was covered in glass. We rang the ambulance just before 2am and it still wasn’t there at 3am, which is why he went.
“There wasn’t anything we could do; I think he had just had enough.”
The couple found out from speaking to Dave that he was a student who had been on a boozy night out.
Lou posted a picture of the man on her Facebook page in a bid to try and find out who he is.
The graphic photo clearly shows the extent of the man’s injuries, and the amount of glass that was smashed by the fall.
Lou added: “There was no other way into the garage so he must have fallen the eight to 10ft drop from the garden wall.
“He told us he lived behind the back of the Coop in the Cattedown area. We think he had just lost his way.
“All we want to know is if he is alright.”
