Comedian John Bishop has adopted a rescued pig after his wife saw a video of it online and “fell in love”.
Pot-bellied pig Milo, three, has been at an RSPCA centre without a home since June last year.
In a desperate attempt to rehome him the charity posted a video of him on their Facebook page.

The Scouse comic’s wife Melanie, 48, spotted the pig’s plight and got in touch with the RSPCA immediately to offer him a home.
The charity transported Mile from its Block Fen centre in March, Cambs., to the couple’s Cheshire home.

Despite not having met the pig before taking him on Milo is said to be settling in nicely.
The RSPCA said its inspectors had checked the star had the means to look after the animal before the adoption could take place.
Jackie William, Block Fen manager, said: “John’s wife saw the information and video of him, fell in love and they arranged for him to be collected without actually meeting him first.
“We are delighted John and his family have adopted Milo.
“They are obviously very excited about the new member of their family and have taken great care to ensure they have everything he needs.
“RSPCA inspectors have done the adoption checks at his new home to ensure he’s got a hard-standing area and a pig ark [for Milo] to shelter in.
“As along as the Bishop family give him food, he’ll be very well behaved and I think he’s found a good home and will be spoilt rotten.”
Milo was rescued in “northern England” when he was a piglet after being found in inadequate accommodation.
He had been rehomed in 2012 by the charity, but was returned after his new owners found they could not look after him.
The RSPCA said Milo had already been trained to respond to a “clicker” when he was being offered food.
John Bishop, 47, was unavailable for comment.
