OLDBURY, UNITED KINGDOM – 26 MAY, 2013: This was the moment elderly church-goers emerged from morning mass – to find they had been slapped with PARKING TICKETS by mean-spirited wardens. Jobsworth enforcement officers even targetted a row of cars bearing DISABLED badges – despite claims their owners had parked there for years without problems. Members of the grey-haired congregation could be seen arguing against the tickets but the unrepentant wardens refused to back down. Furious pensioners – some of them in wheelchairs – pleaded for 30 minutes to have the penalty charges overturned but were refused. The bizarre scene unfolded yesterday (Sunday) outside Our Lady and St Hubert church in Oldbury, West Mids.
