This is the astonishing moment a child stole a phone from a bar – while wearing a Halloween costume.
Two masked thieves snuck into the members only club and spotted the handset before the man told the child to pinch the phone.
CCTV shows the man, dressed as a vampire, scouring the bar area, while giving orders to the child – who was carrying a bucket.
The pair stole co-owner Darren Lacey’s Samsung Galaxy 8 from the bar of The Lanterns snooker club in Folkestone, Kent, around 6:15pm on Wednesday.
Co-owner Ingrid Smith, who has run the club for two years, said she is ‘absolutely amazed’ by the bizarre theft.

She said: “I’ve watched that footage over and over and I’m still absolutely amazed by it.
“I’m fuming that he’s used that child to take the phone – the little boy was only little, probably about six or seven.
“To get into our building, you have to be buzzed in and we have a camera so you can see who’s entering, but yesterday two customers were leaving and as they did, unbeknown to them, let these two in.
“I was cooking for our pool and darts teams, and Darren didn’t see anyone come up the stairs because the buzzer hadn’t gone off, so he came in to help me.
“Every now and then, we look to check if anyone is there, but we didn’t think anyone was in there.
“If you look at the footage you can see him walk away and then he gets the little boy to go and run over and take the phone.
“Nothing like this has ever happened before and you wouldn’t have dreamt it up.
“We know all our members and to come in here, you would have to know where you were going.
“Nobody in here is like that at all and it obviously wasn’t until we realised that the phone was missing that we looked on the cameras and saw what had happened.”
A spokesman for Kent Police said: “Kent Police received a report of burglary at The Lanterns in Folkestone on Wednesday 11 October 2017.
“It is believed that two people entered a business premises at around 6.15pm in Rendezvous Street and stole a mobile phone.”
